Party Wall Awards
Ian Bridge Consultancy Limited was approached to provide party wall advice on a project for a residential conversion into flats. The property was proposed to undergo an extension at ground level and loft conversion therefore involving service of different notices under the appropriate sections of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
Due to the restricted residential location of the property, a number of different party wall notices needed to be served on a number of different ownerships. We had to determined the ownership of adjoining buildings and the nature of the leases on which they were held. This allowed us to create detailed schedules of condition, with photographs, to be included in final party wall awards.
